This expedition promises an extraordinary blend of trekking and climbing through the enchanting Annapurna massif. Chulu West, the pinnacle of technicality among the three peaks, presents climbers with challenges like navigating crevasse openings and ascending/descending a vertical 90-degree wall near the summit. Meanwhile, Pisang Peak adds a touch of moderate yet technical climbing to the adventure.

The Annapurna Three Peaks Expedition is tailored for those with a spirit for high adventure, featuring moderately technical climbs. Chulu West, with a grading of 2B, is within reach for individuals in good shape and harboring a thirst for thrilling experiences.   • Day 1-2: Arrival and Orientation

    Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you’ll be greeted by Namas staff at the airport and transferred to your accommodation.

    The following day will be dedicated to orientation and preparation. You’ll receive briefings on the trekking itinerary, safety protocols, and gear check to ensure you have all necessary equipment for the journey ahead.

  • Day 3: Kathmandu to Besi Sahar

    Depart from Kathmandu and embark on a scenic drive to Besi Sahar, the starting point of the trek. The journey takes approximately 5-6 hours and offers stunning views of the countryside.

  • Day 4: Besi Sahar to Pisang

    Continue your drive from Besi Sahar to Pisang, immersing yourself in the picturesque landscapes of the Annapurna region along the way.

  • Day 5: Acclimatization Hike Day

    Today is dedicated to an acclimatization hike to Upper Pisang village (3250m). This allows your body to adjust to the increasing altitude and prepares you for the days ahead.

  • Day 6: Trek to Pisang Base Camp

    Begin your trek from Upper Pisang to Pisang Base Camp (4380m), gradually ascending through scenic trails surrounded by towering peaks and lush vegetation.

  • Day 7: Trek to Pisang High Camp

    Continue your ascent to Pisang High Camp (5400m), where you’ll set up camp in preparation for the summit push.

  • Day 8: Summit Pisang Peak

    Today is the highlight of the trek as you summit Pisang Peak (6091m). After reaching the summit, soak in the breathtaking views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks before descending back to Base Camp.

  • Day 9: Trek to Ngawal

    Descend from Pisang Base Camp to Ngawal (3650m), enjoying the change in scenery as you make your way to the next destination.

  • Day 10: Trek to Yak Kharka

    Continue your trek from Ngawal to Yak Kharka (3800m), passing through picturesque landscapes dotted with alpine vegetation.

     

  • Day 11: Trek to Chulu Far East Base Camp

    Ascend to Chulu Far East Base Camp (4600m), where you’ll spend the night in preparation for the upcoming summit attempt.

  • Day 12: Trek to High Camp

    Continue your ascent to High Camp (5400m), where you’ll rest and acclimatize before the summit push.

  • Day 13: Summit Chulu Far East

    Today, you’ll summit Chulu Far East (6049m) and then descend back to Base Camp to celebrate your achievement.

    The itinerary continues with further trekking, acclimatization, and summit attempts on other peaks. Each day offers new experiences and challenges, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in the beauty and adventure of the Himalayas.

  • Day 14: Trek to Manang Village

    Descend from Chulu Far East Base Camp to Manang village (3540m), enjoying the scenic landscapes and cultural insights along the way.

  • Day 15: Trek to Tilicho Base Camp

    Trek from Manang to Tilicho Base Camp (4000m), a relatively short journey of 4-5 hours, allowing for acclimatization and preparation for the upcoming trek to Tilicho Lake.

     

  • Day 16: Trek to Tilicho Lake and Shree Kharka

    Trek from Tilicho Base Camp to Tilicho Lake (4900m), a stunning glacial lake nestled amidst towering peaks. After soaking in the beauty of Tilicho Lake, continue trekking to Shree Kharka for overnight stay.

     

  • Day 17: Trek to Ledar

    Descend from Shree Kharka to Ledar (4200m), passing through rugged terrain and picturesque landscapes.

  • Day 18: Trek to Chulu Base Camp

    Continue your trek from Ledar to Chulu Base Camp (4900m), where you’ll prepare for the upcoming climbing days.

     

  • Days 19-23: Climbing Period

    These days are dedicated to climbing activities, including setting up high camps, making rotations, and summit attempts on Chulu Far East and other peaks as per the itinerary.

  • Day 24: Descend to Thorong High Camp

    Descend from Chulu Base Camp to Thorong High Camp (4800m), where you’ll spend the night in preparation for crossing Thorong La Pass the next day.

  • Day 25: Cross Thorong La Pass and Trek to Muktinath and Jomsom

    Begin early in the morning to cross Thorong La Pass (5416m), the highest point of the trek, and then descend to Muktinath (3802m). From Muktinath, trek to Jomsom via flight or Jeep.

     

  • Day 26: Travel to Pokhara

    Drive from Jomsom to Pokhara, a scenic journey offering panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.

     

  • Day 27: Rest Day in Pokhara

    Enjoy a well-deserved rest day in Pokhara, exploring the lakeside city and relaxing amidst its serene surroundings.

     

  • Day 28: Sunrise at Sarangkot and Return to Kathmandu

    Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the Himalayas from Sarangkot. Later, return to Kathmandu in the afternoon.

  • Day 29: Departure

    Bid farewell to Nepal as you depart from Kathmandu, concluding your memorable trekking adventure in the Annapurna region.

    • NNMGA Certified Sherpa Mountain guide
    • $300 Individual tip pool. (This is not a summit bonus tip) The tip pool will be fairly distributed among all Namas staff members. (Guides, porters, drivers, hotel security, and staff). Guests may personally hand in extra tips to our guides and porters.

    • Cook and assistant team at Base Camp and High Camp
    • 30 Kgs per person (Extra additional weight, clients will need to hire an additional porter. Estimated $1000 USD for 26 – 27 days)
    • 2 nights before the expedition and 1 day after the expedition. Hotel in Kathmandu. Twin room/sharing basis. (Should clients return early from their expedition, clients will be responsible for their extra Kathmandu hotel bookings)
    • All trekking and climbing permits (Khumbu Region Permit and TIMS)
    • All internal-local transportation to and from the trekking trailhead
    • Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner on trek and expedition days.
