Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu & Transfer to Hotel
On arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and formal completion of your custom and immigration processes, one of our representatives from Everest Expeditions Nepal will be there to greet you at the arrival exit and escort you to your pre-determined hotel. You may relax in your hotel room for the rest of the time or you may stroll around the streets of Thamel. In the evening, there will be a welcome dinner hosted at an excellent Nepali restaurant where you can enjoy the authentic Nepalese cuisine along with a cultural program. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Trip Preparation Day
After breakfast in our hotel, we may wander around nearby areas and do some shopping for our adventurous trip the following day. In the afternoon, we will have a pre-trip discussion and meet our trekking guide as well as other participants. You will also be briefed on the nature of expedition, equipment and team composition. Later, we will go back to our hotel and have a peaceful sleep. Overnight in Kathmandu

Day 03: Kathmandu to Jalbire (1,000M)
Kathmandu- Jalbire is a scenic drive with mountain views. It takes about 3 hours to get in Balephi from Kathmandu. In case of bad road condition, one needs to walk for about 4 hours to reach Jalbire from Balephi. Jalbire is a nice Newari settlement (1,000 m.) near the banks of the Balephi river. The place is rich in Newari culture and home to the Hindu temple of Lord Bishnu.

Day 04: Jalbire to Chanaute (1,200 m.)
It is 4 hours straight walk from Jalbire to Chanaute. The route passes through a waterfall and some small Tamang villages. Chanaute is a small village, where people belonging to the Brahmin and Chhetri castes live. Camping arrangements are available in the school of Chanaute. One could enjoy the mountain view from the campsite.

Day 05: Chanaute to Khani Gaon (2000 m.)
One can reach Khani Gaon from Chanaute within six hours of walk. Most part of the trail is steep and quite challenging. Khani Gaon is a Newari village. Khani means “source of Mines” and Gaon means “village”. In the middle of 18th century B.S., before Nepal was unified, there was feud between Gorkha and Bhaktapur. It is believed that people of Bhaktapur came to this place to save their life and later settled down there. One can have an excellent mountain view from the camping site as well.

Day 06: Khani Gaon to Forest Camp (3,150M)
It is a steep uphill walk through rhododendron forests. During five hours of walk, one could encounter with wild animals and birds. Camping in the forest.

Day 07: Forest Camp to Pati (3,950 m.)
This is a 4-hour steep uphill walk through pine and rhododendron forests. A rest house has been built for pilgrims at Pati.

Day 08: Pati to Bhariv Kunda (4150 m.)
It is a one hour’s uphill walk followed by 2.5 hours walk to get to Kunda (lake). Bhairav Kunda is satiated at an altitude of 4,150 m. There is a small temple of Lord Shiva near the big holy lake. Once every year during June/ July, pilgrims from different parts of Nepal visit the lake and take a holy bath and pay homage to Lord Shiva.

Day 09: Bhairav Kunda to Bhairav Kunda Top (4500 m.) and Sherpa Gaon (2500 m.)
Early morning walk to Bhairav Kunda Top to have a sunrise and close mountain view of Langtang Lirung, Jugal Himal, Rollwaling Range and Tibetan Range. You will reach a typical Sherpa village within six hours of steep decent.

Day 11: Sherpa Gaon to Larcha (1,500 m.)
It takes three and a half hours for one to reach the bank of the Bhote Khoshi River, which is also called Larcha.

Day 12: Larcha to Kathmandu (1,320 m.)
it is about six hours scenery drive back to Kathmandu. (If you would like enjoy more, you can take part in bungy jumping at the Last Resort or enjoy rafting at the Bhote Koshi River)In the evening, a farewell dinner would be served at Bhojan Griha, the delights of Nepali cuisine.Bhojan Griha is one of the exclusive Nepali restaurants in the valley which serves the very best of traditional, organic and ethnic cuisine of Nepal. The grand old building which was built almost 150 years ago has been renovated and converted into a fascinating restaurant with intricate décor, subtle setting and nostalgic atmosphere. Traditional folk music and dances are performed in full costume every evening over savory meals. No doubt, to dine at Bhojan Griha is a cultural rejuvenation.
